Peaceful School is an integrated, comprehensive model for building relationships and communication within an educational institution, aimed at creating a safe, peaceful environment in the school community by preventing violence and bullying and reducing conflict.
The model engages all participants of the educational process in discussion, decision-making, or conflict resolution:teachers, students, parents, and school administration This fosters cooperation and partnership among them.
Peaceful School has the status of a national-level educational experiment, in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 1 November 2019.

Sometimes I notice that teachers have switched places with the students: the students often share more than the teachers. Teachers and students are now on the same level. For example, in my class there were children who were afraid to communicate and be proactive. The exercises brought them out; they became braver, more open, saw their classmates and teachers differently, became more assertive, and are not afraid to speak about themselves.

I had long dreamed that our school would have a mediation service, and with Peaceful School we were able to launch it. Our goal was to teach students to resolve conflicts properly and to help teachers communicate with and support the children.

The project is implemented jointly with the NGO "Institute of Peace and Understanding", the Ukrainian Scientific and Methodological Center for Practical Psychology and Social Work, and the Institute for the Modernization of the Content of Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
