Collaboration in Community Recovery

Project objective: To support inclusive and participatory recovery in selected communities and to promote the development and strengthening of tools for conflict mitigation and social cohesion in these communities, ultimately aiming to lay a strong foundation for inclusive and participatory recovery in Ukraine.

Why is this project important?

Supporting inclusive community recovery

The project aims to involve all segments of society in recovery processes, ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens regardless of their social, economic, or cultural background.

Creating tools to mitigate the effects of conflict

The project focuses on developing and implementing tools that will help reduce the impacts of conflict and promote peaceful coexistence within the community.

Supporting trust and cooperation

The project helps build relationships of mutual aid and support within the community, which are essential components of successful recovery.

Enhancing social stability

The project helps reduce tension and conflict, fostering a more favorable environment for all community residents.

Laying a solid foundation for Ukraine's recovery

The project creates models and approaches that can be used to restore regions of Ukraine that have been affected.

How Vyshnivska hromada restored club activities.

In the 2023–2024 school year, the Vyshnivska hromada faced a serious problem: due to a reduction in the education subvention, schools were forced to suspend extracurricular clubs. This caused concern among parents and teachers, as the clubs are an important space for children's development.

How the Vyshnivska and Troitska communities established cooperation.

In 2024, as part of the 'Collaboration in Community Recovery' project, representatives of the Vyshnivska Village Council and the Troitska settlement military administration met during training in Kyiv. During the sessions, participants discovered many shared approaches to community development and decided to cooperate in exchanging experience.
