The Institute for Peace and Understanding (IMiP) announces a vacancy for an SMM Manager to provide information support for the organization during project implementation. The specialist is expected to maintain the organization’s continuous presence on social media, the official website and other communication channels.
The role involves working in cooperation with the organization's Communications Manager and project coordinators across areas of activity.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing materials for the website and the organization's/project pages on social media;
- Preparing press releases and press announcements related to project implementation;
- Participating in maintaining and developing cooperation with media, expert communities, and other communication channels;
- Sourcing partners for information dissemination;
- Proposing new news angles and content ideas;
- Assisting in organizing PR events;
- Participating in the preparation of information and analytical materials: announcements, presentations, brochures, infographics (as needed);
- Conducting media monitoring and analysis of the information environment.
Candidate requirements:
- Higher education in journalism, public relations or related fields;
- Understanding of the specifics of working in non-governmental organizations;
- Proven experience in journalism, communications or PR;
- Experience writing informational materials;
- Visualization skills for materials are a plus;
- Knowledge of English is welcome and may also be an advantage.
