A space for stories from Ukrainians about the war
The Institute of Peace and Understanding is implementing the project “Enhancing the Capacity of the Judiciary and Civil Society Organizations to Address the Consequences of the War in Ukraine.”
Goalto ensure the right to truth, to unite Ukrainian society and citizens of other countries around rebuilding social structures, relationships, and the country. Supporting community recovery and national resilience.
As part of the project, we created a web platform of eyewitness accounts about the war.
“Sylanka” is a space for stories from Ukrainians who witnessed, endured, or are enduring the events of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. Our team aims to help Ukrainians find inspiration and recover by reading others' stories, and to unite in resisting the enemy and rebuilding Ukraine.
Our team collected, systematized, and thematically grouped these accounts into “threads.” This makes it easy to find people, projects, and initiatives to join or support.
Users can also add their own initiative or project to share information about their activities or to attract additional support.
The project “Enhancing the Capacity of the Judiciary and Civil Society Organizations to Address the Consequences of the War in Ukraine” is implemented by the NGO Institute of Peace and Understanding together with the NGO DEJURE Foundation and is funded by the European Union.
