IMiP Is Looking for Project Coordinators

A competition has been announced for project coordinator positions at the Institute of Peace and Understanding.

Our organization helps achieve understanding in conflict situations and in making difficult joint decisions. We implement socially important projects in the areas of restorative justice and restorative practices in schools and communities.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic and tactical planning of project development.
2. Organizing the work of the project team and involved experts in line with project goals and objectives.
3. Basic information support for projects.
4. Organization and facilitation of events and trainings.
5. Ensuring implementation of the activity plan in accordance with grant agreements:

• Monitoring timely completion of project tasks;
• Reviewing reports from partners and contractors;
• Organizing events within projects;
• Ensuring compliance with the provisions of grant agreements;
• Ensuring proper execution of project budgets.

6. Preparation of activity reports.
7. Translation of project documentation (if required).
8. Ensuring proper and timely communication with donors.
9. Designing projects and developing partnerships.

Requirements for candidates:

1. Creativity, responsibility, commitment to IMiP's mission.
2. Experience in preparing project proposals.
3. At least 2 years of project coordination experience.
4. Experience coordinating a team's work.
5. Experience organizing events (trainings, conferences).
6. Experience preparing reports for donors or activity reports in English.
7. Independence and creativity in decision-making.
8. Higher education.
9. English proficiency at Advanced level or higher.
10. Confident user of computers and digital technologies.
11. Willingness to travel within Ukraine.
