“The more you know, the more you can do.” – E.Abu
Recently, we attended a workshop on negotiation design organized by our partners from Swisspeace in Basel, Switzerland. Our team works on the principle “The more you know, the more you can do.” One of the methods of gaining knowledge is to share experiences, and our colleagues told us about their knowledge of negotiation processes in different countries, including Colombia.
Over the past years, Ukrainians have developed many interesting approaches and initiatives that are highly appreciated by our foreign partners and are leading the way in this area. Many countries are already working according to our methods, which is something to be proud of!
“We believe that the Ukrainian experience of peacebuilding initiatives during the active phase of the war is unique and should be presented at the international level.”- Institute for Peace and Common Ground
During a full-scale invasion, Ukraine is gaining valuable experience in conflict resolution and the ability to negotiate with allied states every day. Therefore, our experts have something to share with international colleagues, such as cases that have been effective in the course of armed aggression by another state, and they (our colleagues), in turn, can help improve this process.
The Institute of Peace and Common Ground is a leading Ukrainian non-governmental organization that specializes in achieving positive and sustainable change through dialogue and restorative practices. Our mission is to help people find common ground in situations of conflict and joint decision-making
